Health and Safety Executive
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Executive to join our client, a leading business who have enjoyed considerable growth over the last 5 years. Due to this, they are now looking for a Health and Safety Executive with experience in the construction industry to be responsible for all the safety, health environment and quality assurance of external projects.
You will co-ordinate, support and advise the business on all aspects with regards to Health and Safety. You will establish, monitor, and manage standards, processes, communications, training, and systems.
The position is full-time and will involve working from the office and travelling on-site which could be anywhere in the UK depending on where the projects are taking place.
You will be responsible for all the external health and safety including policy writing, introducing and monitoring quality procedures, auditing of the external projects, training and toolbox talks to staff.
Candidate requirements –
- At least 2 – 3 years in a similar position
- Experience in the construction industry
- NEBOSH / IOSH or working towards
- Experience in auditing and training and development
- Experience of establishing and implementing H&S policies and procedures
The salary for the position is circa £35,000 depending on experience, the company offer a fantastic working environment where you will be supported and empowered.
