Our client is a leading, independent and well-established business based in Thirsk. Due to continued growth and success a new role has arisen for an Internal Sales Executive to work within their busy sales office. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to establish a career with a forward thinking and friendly business.
We are looking for candidates with previous sales experience, results focused and strong relationship building skills. You will be dealing with mainly existing customers, but we do need candidates who are proactive to approach new business and expand the customer base.
Main responsibilities include:
- Promoting business products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- Understanding and delivering upon individual customer needs.
- Achieving activity and result based targets.
- Providing quotations to customers for goods and services to achieve required sales margins.
- Following up an all quotations and leads to maximise sales outcomes.
- Accurately inputting orders into the business software system.
- Provide the business with market feedback and information.
Benefits:
- Salary is circa £20,000 - £26,000, negotiable subject to skills and experience
- Full training is to be provided on the business sales system, both internally and offsite.
- Hours of work 8.30 am to 5pm Monday to Friday with a one hour lunch break.
