Our client is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team on a part time basis (20 hours per week). This is a fantastic opportunity based in Wetherby and you will be joining a supportive and friendly team.
Salary- £18000 pro rata for 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll using clients’ information, including: staff hours, holiday, SSP/SMP on a weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly or monthly basis.
- Produce payslips, reports etc. using SAGE 50 payroll for post or email.
- Report payroll information to HMRC for RTI purposes.
- Carry out Auto enrolment procedures i.e. assessing workers and uploading pension contributions to the relevant pension scheme.
- Deal with all aspects of PAYE i.e. initial setup, monthly requests, HMRC queries, yearend submissions.
- Provide advice to clients with any staffing issues i.e. leavers, holiday pay, SSP, SMP etc.
- To be up-to-date with current legislation and changes in minimum wages etc. in order to keep clients informed of these changes when they happen.
The ideal candidate will have experience with SAGE 50 Payroll, a confident telephone manner and strong work ethic.
