Account Manager
Location: Wetherby
Salary: £30,000 basic plus £10,000 - £20,000+ commission
Hours: Full-time, Permanent | Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Benefits: Annual bonus scheme, 20 days + bank holidays annual leave plus Christmas shutdown, company pension, free on-site parking.
We are recruiting for a driven and personable Account Manager to join a growing business based in Wetherby. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building client relationships, delivering excellent service, and managing projects from enquiry to completion.
In this varied role, you’ll be responsible for handling both new and existing client accounts, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring the smooth running of orders and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to sales enquiries via phone and email
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients
- Produce detailed quotations and raise sales invoices
- Order materials from suppliers
- Prepare sample packs for clients
- Manage timelines for new and repeat product orders
- Collaborate with Account Management and Production teams
- Attend internal sales meetings and client calls/meetings
- Identify growth opportunities within client accounts
- Gather client feedback to improve services and offerings
- Maintain accurate records of client activity and projects
Experience:
- Previous experience in sales or account management
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and emails
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
