Location: Knaresborough, North Yorkshire
Salary: £35,000 basic + OTE £80,000
Hours: Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work (day back in lieu)

The Role
As Business Manager, you will work closely with the sales team to deliver a seamless, end-to-end customer journey. You will structure and present tailored finance, insurance and product solutions, ensuring clarity, compliance and complete confidence at every stage.
You will be a trusted advisor to customers, managing both first and second-facing interactions with professionalism and care.
Key responsibilities include:

Building and presenting tailored finance, insurance and add-on product solutions in line with FCA regulations

Supporting the sales team to deliver a premium buying experience

Managing customer interactions professionally, in person, online and over the phone

Supporting the sale of high-value vehicles alongside value-added products

Ensuring accuracy, compliance and exceptional customer satisfaction

Assisting with vehicle and part exchange valuations

Managing and responding to customer enquiries efficiently

Supporting daily operational activities to achieve agreed targets

Representing the business at promotional events and vehicle showcases
About You
You will be an experienced automotive Business Manager or Transaction Manager who takes genuine pride in delivering outstanding service.
This role requires more than just experience, it requires a true passion and knowledge for cars. You will understand the product, the market and the importance of building long-term relationships.
You will have:

Proven experience within an automotive Business Manager or similar role

Strong understanding of automotive finance and insurance products and FCA regulations

A genuine passion for cars and strong industry knowledge

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

A full UK driving licence
