    Confectionery Control Team Manager

    We are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Ecommerce Control Team Manager to join our client’s team, supporting well-known brands such as Cadbury Gifts. This is a varied and rewarding position that demands exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

    Salary: £35,000 p/a

    As Confectionery Control Team Manager you will oversee the daily operations of processing customer web orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from the point of order to delivery. Key responsibilities include supervising a team, maintaining efficient workflows, order processing in accordance with partner SLA’s, coordinating bulk shipping, customer care and other departments, resolving issues, and analysing performance metrics to improve the order fulfilment process.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Order processing: Daily production of all orders on time delivery to the warehouse order fulfilment team
    • Order processing oversight: Ensure all orders are processed accurately and on time through various systems. Maintain a role in workflow production, credit control and quality control alongside other members of the team
    • Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with other departments like customer care, inventory, and shipping to ensure a smooth and seamless supply chain
    • Data Reporting: Internal and external reporting using a variety of bespoke and standard systems, designing reports on occasion, where requested by our clients, sales teams and directors.
    • Customer care: Resolution of customer enquiries and delegation of these where appropriate, ensuring they are successfully completed. Providing excellent customer service balanced with business needs.
    • Workflow optimisation: Develop and implement efficient workflows for order fulfilment and inventory management.
    • Problem resolution: Proactively resolve order discrepancies, shipping booking, and other customer-related problems.
    • Performance monitoring: Analyse order processing metrics, track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and implement strategies for improvement.
    • Compliance and quality: Ensure all operations comply with company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures. 

    Key skills and qualifications

    • Proven Experience in fulfilment, mail order, or a related operations management role with an e-commerce business.
    • Leadership and management: Proven ability to manage & plan, lead, order spikes.
    • Organisational skills: Strong organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
    • Problem-solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
    • Technical proficiency: Experience with order management systems, e-commerce platforms and data analysis tools.
