HR Consultant
Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Salary: £40,000 pro rata
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours) or Part-time (2 or 3 full days or school hours)

As a HR Consultant, you will work closely with clients in a way that embodies the company’s values, enabling them to trust and love working with us. You will provide top-notch solutions and HR advice while successfully navigating the unique challenges faced by clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and supportive HR advice to clients via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings.
- Lead and work on projects involving company culture, pay and reward, diversity and inclusion, health and wellbeing, performance management, and more.
- Stay ahead of the curve on people-related approaches to ensure clients have access to the most up-to-date and creative solutions.
- Run bespoke training sessions, both in person and online.
- Create staff contracts, handbooks, and templates in a user-friendly format.
- Attend disciplinary, grievance, and appeal meetings on behalf of clients, while empowering them to manage these processes independently.
- Proactively seek ways to improve clients’ businesses and manage relationships with confidence, trust, and a touch of humour.
- Share your passion for HR by helping to create positive, happy workplaces.
Requirements and Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of HR experience.
- Proven experience in project ownership and case management, with the ability to provide client support without needing direction.
- A warm, friendly approach with the ability to put people at ease, build trust, and enjoy your work.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
- Strong IT literacy with Microsoft Office and familiarity with various online platforms (e.g., CRMs, recruitment portals).
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- An open mind, creative approach, and lots of energy!
