New Business Development Manager
We're looking for a dynamic, self-driven individual to join our client's team as a New Business Development Manager based in Harrogate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with good sales ability looking to work for a business that offers autonomy, excellent earning potential, and the opportunity to develop. The ideal candidate will possess a "can do" attitude, be results-driven, and enjoy building new relationships.
This is a full-time permanent position. The basic salary is £24,000 to £25,000 with an OTE of £46,000 on top of the base, plus excellent benefits including company pension, 25 days + stats annual leave, your birthday off, professional development opportunities, and room for progression.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends and new opportunities.
- Research competitors’ activities and market conditions to stay ahead of industry developments.
- Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients whilst understanding their needs.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of solutions to clients.
- Prepare compelling and customized proposals, presentations and pitches to showcase the value proposition of the company.
- Articulate the benefits of the companies’ products and services to potential clients.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Support the full sales cycle.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in new business development sales
- Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to identify and capitalize on new business.
- Able to build and maintain client relationships.
