A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a super organised Operations / Events Manager to join a fashion and events business based in Leeds. This is an exciting time to join a growing business to support internally with managing the office and creating processes and procedures.  We are looking for candidates who are proactive, dynamic, committed and looking for a role where they can make a difference.  There is genuine opportunity for career progression, and you will be part of a fun, creative and sustainable business at a time of growth.

The role is full time Monday to Friday 9.00 – 17.00, salary between £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience, pension, car parking, staff socials

Responsibilities include -

  • Coordinating and managing events
  • Overseeing the planning & running of the live events team
  • Managing budgets for live events
  • Managing staff efficiently
  • Scouting & negotiating terms with venues for live events
  • Managing logistics & transport for live events
  • Booking venues - liaising with venue managers, booking forms and creation of event diary
  • Managing staff rotas
  • Office management including facilities management and stock control
  • Recruitment of office and events staff
  • HR administration including contracts, new starters, holidays, sickness and liaising with external HR Consultant
  • Overseeing health and Safety compliance
  • Finance administration regarding payroll and purchase ledger
  • Client relationship management
  • PA duties to Management
  • Organising staff socials and assisting with events

Candidate requirements –

  • Forward thinking
  • Strong IT skills and competent in MS Office
  • Experience in managing
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Some finance administration experience would be advantageous
  • Adaptable to change and able to make suggestions
  • Good time management
  • Ability to work at a fast pace
  • Confident in managing people and introducing processes
